Not struggling. The problem is to understand early that the taking part in corridor is humid. Often, foolish me, I’m so focussed on the sport that I blame myself for the missed stokes till I realise that the venue is humid.
Nonetheless, after I do realise that there is humidity to take care of I regulate my sport accordingly.
Some issues to do:
- Wipe down the desk after each sport Do not look forward to the top of the match. I carry an outdated cotton TeeShirt only for that objective
- Wipe/dry/test one’s bat after each rally.
- Wipe/dry your tossing hand and the ball if you’re going to serve. Wipe the ball at any time when the chance arises
Most opponent don’t perform these procedures as they cannot be bothered. So anticipate a moist ball serve and so forth.
Ignore the above recommendation at your peril 😉
