Jeff Davis superintendent anticipates prison costs after soccer recreation altercation

A postgame skirmish following the Jennings-Plaquemine soccer recreation Friday evening is being investigated by each the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Workplace and Louisiana Excessive College Sport Affiliation, in response to Jefferson Davis Parish Superintendent of Faculties John Corridor.
Corridor launched the next assertion Monday:
“We’re working with the Iberville Sheriff’s division and offering them with our video, our investigation and any proof from the altercation. LHSAA can also be actively investigating the assault on our participant and our sideline workers. We’ve already contacted LHSAA concerning the incident and have been speaking with them each day and can proceed to work hand in hand with them as we await any disciplinary motion as soon as their investigation is concluded. We anticipate prison costs could also be forthcoming.”
Corridor stated no additional info will probably be launched.
Jennings received the sport, performed in Plaquemine, by a rating of 28-25 to increase the profession of longtime head coach Rusty Phelps, who has introduced he’ll retire following this season.
